With a solid decade of experience in the fashion world, particularly in clothing production across international manufacturing hubs like Indonesia, China, and here in Australia, I’m excited about helping you turn your design ideas into a tangible collection.
My main job in your brand’s journey is to handle the most difficult and cost defining aspects of the production process, in order to allow you to focus on the other bits of business, like brand building, strategy, creativity, marketing and sales.
Having so much experience with production, I’ve dealt with al the most common difficulties and issues that most first time producers face when starting a fashion label. With this knowledge I can guide and simplify your production experiences, avoiding the problems and bottlenecks which are so common and increase the risk and cost for product launches.
Hello! I’m Madonna, a fashion designer and founder of the sustainable fashion brand Eco Intimates.
Graduating from fashion design school, I began to design, make and sell my own designs, soon finding that supply outstripped what I was able to produce, setting me on a journey to find sustainable, ethical and profitable manufacturing for my best-selling organic cotton lingerie and sleepwear label.
I have spent the last decade building and growing my (often very demanding!) business, working with suppliers in Australia, Indonesia and China – and learning a lot on this journey!
I have worn many hats in my business, from designing, pattern-making and managing production, to marketing, selling and customer service for my E-commerce store. I’ve also been involved with other creatives to build a brand, direct and manage photoshoots, create campaigns… and more!
I know the pressures of launching your brand and the volume of stress and overwhelm which can put some people off starting the journey. So, I would like to help and support you to begin your journey with your own business, leveraging the years of knowledge and experience that I have worked hard to build over the years.

I studied fashion design and traditional patternmaking, meaning that my foundation of study was garment construction and production for fashion.
This technical knowledge in the creation, sizing and construction of garments means that I know how to translate an idea into a commercial garment and understand the technical and logistical requirements that any factory will need you to provide, in order to produce them at scale.
When I launched my own fashion brand, I had minimum guidance and had to learn it myself, going from production on a small scale to growing to larger volumes and ranges and sizes.
I’ve often had to learn through trial and error, but in the process, have streamlined my workflow so that I’m confident about being able to deliver a collection and can save you stress, time and money by guiding you on the process.
I have designed, managed production and launched multiple best-selling collections over the last decade, creating seven figure revenues from my designs during this time.
Producing and releasing multiple collections per year on a regular basis means that I understand what sells, what customers want and how to make a collection more profitable and successful.
By working with many different factories, suppliers and wholesalers over the years, I have developed and built a network of trusted suppliers that I can draw from.
Depending on your market, scale and production type, I can source and recommend people to work with in specific regions both domestically and overseas.
Launching your own fashion line can be a steep learning process where you have to learn quickly, while constantly juggling multiple issues and problem solving on the fly. Delays can be costly and mistakes even more so!
But my substantial experience with production and manufacturing means that I’ve created better workflows and easier roads through production, which you can benefit from.
Foreseeing issues regarding supply chain or logistical problems such a shipping, import legalities and taxation costs, can potentially save you time and money by side stepping any nasty surprises which can blow out production budgets and cause delays to delivery times.
Of course, every production run is different so I can never guarantee that unforeseen problems won’t arise, but I help you to avoid all the most common logistical sticking points that new producers face.
